The Herbert and Marion Donovan College of Health Sciences on April 5 and April 12, 2025, held its Capping and Badging activities for the Undergraduate and Associate programs respectively. This is an annual tradition of the University where practicing senior and junior nursing students gain acceptance into the nursing profession.

Undergraduate Program: The colorful program was held on April 5 and was marked by selections, lighting of candles, and the saying of the Florence Nightingale Pledge. A total of 97 students were capped, of which 56 represented the Basic Nursing Program and 41 from the Physician Assistant track. The former Medical Director of the Phebee Hospital, Dr. Jefferson Sibley served as Guest Speaker.
Associate Program: The program was held on April 12 on the campus of Cuttington Junior College in Kakata City, Margibi County. This program was a grand success, starting with a parade and climaxing with the official indoor capping and badging program. A total of 39 students were capped, representative of 19 seniors and 20 juniors. Mr. Kwualuan D.M. Yealue II, Founder and Executive Director of Bouzaboe Global served as Guest Speaker.
In conclusion, students were cautioned to take their profession seriously, as the lives of many would be in their hands. They should be passionate, dedicated, committed, and professional in the execution of their duties.

The ceremony was not only a proud milestone for the students and faculty but it also highlighted how dedication precision and continuous learning play an important role in every professional field. When discussing sweeteners one important topic is invert syrup and the role of inverted sugar syrup in food preparation. Many bakers and beverage manufacturers prefer this ingredient because it dissolves quickly and helps products stay…

This moment represented not just the end of formal education but also a transition into real-world challenges where careful preparation and structured support often make the difference between success and struggle. Interestingly this concept isn’t limited to academics; it strongly connects to how small businesses navigate financial growth. Just as students need guidance and systems to succeed in professional practice businesses require organized financial frameworks to manage expansion effectively.
Another factor to consider is how early-stage businesses often operate. In many cases founders handle everything themselves from daily transactions to decision-making. While this can work initially it quickly…
The capping and badging ceremony at Cuttington University marked more than just an academic milestone for the Nursing and Physician Assistant students. It represented discipline preparation responsibility and the transition into professional service. Interestingly the same principles that guide healthcare professionals through demanding environments also apply to the way successful businesses are built and managed over time.
Just as medical students are trained to follow procedures carefully maintain accurate records and minimize risks in patient care businesses also need structured systems to remain stable and efficient. This connects directly to an area many growing companies eventually realize cannot be ignored — financial organization compliance management and operational planning.
Many business owners spend most of their time focusing on customers sale…
